Lake Oshen, Cameroon (photo Njei M.T)

This crater lake situated between Bamenda and Wum in the North West Province of Cameroon 'sometimes changes its colour' according to residents of the area. The scientific explanation is yet unclear but it is clear that this change may be linked to some turbulence in the lake. This photo was taken in July 2004 and the next one taken in June 2005 had a diffent colour.
